Juliane Beck develops and organizes projects and programs in different collaborative structures like longterm artists’ projects, residency formats or platforms. Her main interest lies in transdisciplinary approaches and artistic research, in particular how documentary or socially engaged practices can contribute to the projection of future societies.
After studies of cultural sciences and aesthetic practice at the University of Hildesheim she worked as a dramaturg and organizer with Herbordt/Mohren, Daniel Kötter and Hannes Seidl. During a one-year fellowship for art coordination at Akademie Schloss Solitude she organized and curated several programs with resident fellows, including the project In Our Backyards in Leipzig and Stuttgart. She was a coordinator for Forecast, a mentoring platform in cooperation with Haus der Kulturen der Welt in Berlin.
Since 2018 she has been in charge of the residency programme and several transdisciplinary platforms at PACT Zollverein in Essen.
